A Taste for Three picks up where the popular quickie, Pandora’s Box, From Ro Smith’s Little Book Of Unfulfilled Desires, left off. Married couple Eve and Chloe are faced with a decision to bring another woman into their home, forming a lovable triad among the three. Eve, new to the polyamory lifestyle, accepts. Soon, Renae, a curvaceous beauty, enters their triad, bringing a fire the women never knew they needed. Life is bliss until one evening, Chloe witnesses Eve and Renae engaged in an act that has left her feeling like an outcast and stranger within her own home. In a split-second decision, a choice is made that leaves all three women wondering where they went wrong and whether fixing it will create more pain and resentment than necessary. A triple dose of love can be a fulfillment of the senses, but overindulging can cause irreversible side effects. It’s the attention to details, the emotional and mental needs and the sex🥵 🤭 that does it for me every time;it’s always written sooo beautifully.
The sexual and sensual connection between the 3 women was precious but I got so much more from this book.
Most importantly I think the author portrayed both light and dark sides of polyamorous relationships by showing you the surface level of their relationship, but also diving deeper into the inner workings of how each character interacts with each other on a physical and emotional level💞.
Polyamory is not just about having multiple partners to fulfill one’s desires, it’s about learning to balance the emotions, mental, and manage the complexities and needs of multiple partners. Ultimately, polyamory relies on love, trust, and patience to create successful relationships that can last a lifetime.
I recommend this book if you’ve ever wondered what it means to be in polyamorous relationship & if you enjoy a good sapphic sexy book.
This was my first book by Ro Smith and I honestly can't wait to read more. I wasn't expecting to relate to this triad of women as much as I did. Three women in a relationship with its ups downs, excitement and monotony. It brought a more taboo relationship dynamic and made it...ordinary I guess. I saw my relationship in aspects of theirs and saw beauty in the power of three. I'd give it 5 stars but I was left with so many questions and wanted to see a certain runaway bride develop more but we don't always get the dream ending I guess sigh aside from getting lost in the prose of the writing at times, I really enjoyed the way this read as well. It felt like poetry at times. Read it.
