There are various other ways of exercising a little economy, altogether too numerous to mention, which will present them selves. A trip such as is described in the following pages, involving nearly nine thousand miles of travel, may be made, very comfortably, at a cost not exceeding three hundred and fifty dollars, including transportation (first class by sea, second class by land), board, tips, and every other necessary and incidental expense. With ladies in the party, a little extra margin would probably be required.
