When he lies to Faith and tells her Asha is out of the picture, he never expects Faith to learn his secret, but when she does, she decides to get even. Jayson, still believing that things are as they should be, plans to meet Faith at a hotel room for her surprise party. Instead, it is Jayson who receives a horrible shock. He soon learns that not just Faith has been harboring secrets; Asha turns out to be a very different woman from the one he fell in love with years ago. Sexy and real, Love Frustration candidly confronts what happens when people have what they don't want and love what they can't have.

I was looking to get lost in a romance when I read this--had a stressful week and needed to escape into the world of characters. I did get lost into the story, but not in the way I originally intended. There was lots of deception, betrayal, cheating mates/spouses,sexual identity issues, confusion, and mayhem--everything that makes a girl go *aaahhhh* when reading a romance novel. I like Mr. Johnson's realistic view of how relationships can go bananas when folks are being dishonest with themselves or others. I think the ending threw me for a loop but I like his style of storytelling.
I really enjoyed this book. I love Johnson style. I am surely going to read his other books. The story was so real and when the plot thickened it was no way you could put the book down. Absolutely no way!!!! At times I laughed out loud or just gasped. Everyone should read it young or old, its something for everyone in it.
At first glance, I thought it was going to be the typical love triangle and it was going to be very repetitive. I was wrong! This book had so many twists and turns. And I will say this really deals with real life love and relationship situations. I would definitely recommend this to someone.
wow...this was the first book I have read by R.M. Johnson and most definitely won't be my last. what a well written book about learning oneself and forgiving others. I would recommend this one
This book is filled with many plot twists and turns and you alternate between hating the characters and loving them. Mr. Johnson shows a side to characters that few authors explore and I will be a fan for life. I stayed up all night to finish this book which had me crying and mad all at the same time. A must read for any who love suspense and romance.
I believe that this book is very interesting and contains a valuable life lesson. it is more of an adolescent and into adulthood book for the ranging of ages and I believe that it touches on all of the areas that our society is facing today!
I stopped at Chapter 8, because I had no CLUE where this story was going. Basically, dude is best friends with his former lover and is engaged to someone that hates their friendship. She gives him an altimatum...and blahblahblah.
This book was full of surprise. The Characters had some serious issues, trying to find themselves, the many betrayals were intoxicating. This is a book that I couldn't put down.
