Turns out this was a talk not a book but I’m still counting it. I like the advice to study Jesus’s prayers in Luke and 3 Nephi.

I enjoy Millett’s talks so much. This talk is how I remember him as a professor, a speaker, a gospel doctrine teacher and even a home teacher to my parents— he always had a scripture or a quote ready that would go along with the discussion. I wish I knew the scriptures as well as Brother Millett, so I could FIND that one scripture that’s on the top of my tongue or the right quote to give a friend.

Great talk with loads of scriptural references.

This book was taken from a talk given by Robert Millet. He makes some thought-provoking ideas about prayer and how some prayers have more thought and emotion behind them then others. It also provides ways in which we can improve our own prayers and make them truly matter to us, because they always matter to the Lord.
