Was this informative? Sure. But, it does read as something that is echoing points found in almost every other inspirational books. They may be short but there were chapters that didn't make sense as well. The sort that exists, supposedly, to make one laugh. The little activities seen in just below the last paragraph of each chapter can be helpful though.

Was this motivational? Not really. I don't know why it's so hard for me to take preachers seriously. I can appreciate the lack of citing out of context Bible verses, and I thought I'd prefer it that way, but I at least thought it would make me appreciate the smaller things. Not be told to be grateful just cause I don't have diformaties or disabilities. That just seems shallow to me idk.

Bottom line: good enough for preteens who hasn't touched any self help books.

I liked it. It was inspiring. The only dilemma here is that I dont agree that life is a mirror and what you see in others is what you see in yourself.

Our brain has the capability to match things. And matching here means completing up a puzzle. If you are too bitchy, and you met a gal who was as nice and delicate as your mother, how could you see rudeness in this mother-like figure you've just bumped to? Yes, some people tend to say, "she is just showing off. i can see that she really is a bitch." But guess what, these people didn't see that the nice gal MIGHT BE a TRAMP, they saw that she was just simply NICE. The Bitch Theory here is just a THEORY. And applying a theory is not something you just see, you think about it first.

Apparently, you dont see yourself in others. You see what you lack as a person in others. We are just afraid to say it out loud because people are too proud to give compliments. Instead, people make up their own theories such as the Bitch Theory to take out the goodness in the respectful recognition they see in others.

I must say, that life is not a mirror, but rather a broken mirror. We see our missing pieces in other people's reflections. But we are too scared to pick them up because every piece being fetched hurts us. And most of the times, we bleed before we could even put down the piece of broken glass to complete the shattered mirror of our life.

It's life. You cant have it all. After all, we are all perfectly smashed mirrors.

Science proof: Charles Darwin's Natural Selection stated that every specie possesses distinction from the same specie. So that means, I could be everything you're not ;))

Haha.
Anyway.
I adore you Bo.
You embrace the nonbelievers.

Easy read book with a sense humour so no doubt, you can finish it with one sitting. It was composed of different stories that would make you realized that to dream bigger and realized why there are people who are very happy and same way, rich in spiritual and in business. There were 7 Secrets or common to them that Bo have noticed and shared it through this book.

Read the right book at the right moment. This really helped me a lot to calm my mind, I found a little bit of inner peace after reading this. I really liked reading this, it made me smile, it answered a few questions I had been asking myself these past few days. :)

"Be an inverse paranoid. An inverse paranoid wakes up each morning and says, 'I expect to be blessed today! Yipee!'
Don't let the generic title fool you. This one's a sure winner. The perfect book to read on a rainy day. :)

The author presupposes that the Filipino are a jovial lot. I have to agree with him on this, even Survey Research Hong Kong noted that 94% of Filipinos are happy. The reader then might ask, "So why another book on happiness"? Bo's answer to this: "This is not a book on happiness. This is a book on achieving your dreams and enjoying great happiness along the way."

Bo shares "7 Secrets of Extreme Happiness", they seem so simple and elementary... It makes one think "Shouldn't we already know these things"? Unfortunately, since they're so simple, it's easy to overlook them. I, myself, am guilty of overlooking a few of them. Hopefully, these helpful reminders will help correct that.

The book borrows heavily on "The Law of Attraction" and "The Power of the Mind" (with the author's own twist). There are some things, I agree on. Some that I don't. And there are others that felt a bit out of place... Over-all a good read.
