Vampires, Weres, Dragons, etc. live among the human race. Jenna Stone and her sisters, Rowan and Erin, are the daughters of a twisted and sadistic man, who collects Others as pets and conducts evil experiments on them. Jenna and Rowan have had enough and plan to escape. Jenna doesn't make it very far before she's recaptured by her father's men. Just as she's about to be raped and killed, she's rescued by the man of her dreams, literally. She has spent months dreaming of Nico, a vampire who has shown her love and pleasure in the hidden recesses of her mind.

Nic has been alone for centuries. He has finally grown weary and tired of his existence and finds little relief in all the things that have always kept him occupied. Then he began dreaming of a woman, Jenna. He searched for her, but never found her. He believes she could be his One, his soul mate. When he rescues a badly beaten Jenna, he can't believe she's finally with him, in flesh in blood. The bond is instant and he vows to never let her go. He would do anything for her, that includes launching an attack on her father's estate to help rescue her recaptured sister, Rowan. Unknowingly, they walk right into a trap.

This was definitely more porn than plot, then again it wasn't a long story, so it focused more on the bonding between the two lovers. The steamy sexing begins very shortly after Jenna's rescue, so thank goodness we already established that they weren't unfamiliar with each other, thanks to their dreams. Jenna is not the typical paranormal heroine. Despite the physical and verbal abuse she's suffered at the hands of her father, she's a strong woman. She really blooms under the influence of Nic's love. She's also a curvaceous woman, which feeds her insecurities from time to time, but it was nice to see Nic love every inch of her, down to her soul. Their love scenes are raw, carnal and very HOT! Wowza.

I'm already a bit into the second book, and we learn more about Rowan's father and just how twisted he really is. So far, I like this series.

Jenna and her sister try to escape from their evil father. Jenna has been having dreams of a vampire lover. During her escape she ends up in an alley being beaten by her dads men. Nico has become tired of his long existence and the only relief he gets is when he's dreaming of Jenna. Fate puts them together when he rescues her from being beaten to death. Of course it's soul mates at once.
The sex was pretty hot but I didn't really care what happened to the characters. Just a so so read. I don't think I'll be picking the series back up in the near future.

Loved it! Two people who realized their bond early on and worked together to free her sister. Very romantic, lots of sexy vampire love, evil villains and loyal friends. Lots of great secondary characters and tons of potential for more stories in the future. When is the next one?!

Loved it. Can't wait for the next book. Nic saves Jenna from two thugs of her fathers. He also tries to help save her sister.

I have to say that this book was HOT. I will admit that the vampire genre is flooded right now but this one stood out to me. It was well written and the characters were well formed.
