I read most of this book on the flight to and from San Diego and finished up when I got back to DC.
This book was published in 2002 and nuclear deterrence and ballistic missile defense technology have dramatically evolved and matured since publishing. Not to mention the political and security landscapes have diverged from the expectations of the writers in some regards.
I originally wrote responses to every single article within this book but there's just too much to transfer to one of these GoodReads review. Some authors make compelling arguments, some make ridiculous assertions or predictions, and some tow the line between what is/is not acceptable within the language of the ABM treaty. For the time, this was probably a decent book, but it's without a doubt outdated now.
