I was curious to see how a book on serial killers would be written geared towards children but more importantly WHY would one even be written in the first place. It's written simplistically well and easy for younger people to follow. Thankfully, it was cleaned up in regards to details such as the rapes of various victims are never mentioned anywhere which I think was the right thing to do.
