There is some interesting/classic information on the body building point of view for visual symmetry which mixes in some well known social psychological theories. Of course, the writers try to take a non-body building view on working out (it seems mostly for marketability) and call it "shape shifting" instead of body building. There is information on body types, and what areas to work on to achieve the perfect "X" form for various body types. I found the coverage of the seven sensual curves (on a woman's body) interesting, but, lacking a little depth as to what the purpose of those particular muscles and the benefit of toning them (aside from the obvious superficial benefits).
Overall, this is probably an excellent book for women just starting to work on shaping their bodies and need a good "what to do and how to do it" type guide. But, for anyone who has more than a little experience, it will be the same old information in a different cover.
