Beginning with a presentation of an approach to foreign language acquisition through the use of psychodrama techniques, this study proposes a new methodology of foreign language teaching. It also focuses on a range of practical ways for experiencing the language from within: relaxation techniques, means of acquiring the intonation and rhythm of the language and communicative exercises orientated towards participant development. The last section of the text deals with teacher development and considers how teachers relate to their students.
