Bit orientalist and not that good honestly. There isn't really a plot that works itself out and the ramblings on art and aesthetics are a bit trite.

Story told from the point of view of a strange man in NYC who rents out an apartment across the street from his own and takes pictures of his tenants through a boarded up room in his apartment. He only rents to beautiful young women but has no contact with thim. Finally he rents to an Indian woman who mystically cures him of his voyeuristic habit. A little fluffy, but interesting twist.
