Syrus was seeking revenge. Jessye was just trying to adjust to having a new leader. Their desire burns hot, but the past and stubbornness stands between them.

Syrus will claim Jessye as his consort and gain the revenge for the murder of those he loved. Jessye will submit to him. Like hell, Jessye says. She is no one's consort. She stands on her own and doesn't need him. But her hunger for him haunts them both between the hunt for a murderer and political games.

Dark magick and blood, anger and desire will bring them together but also push them apart. Love, lust, need, revenge can all be tainted. Forgiveness and acceptance can heal it all.

Dear Reader,

In a man’s letters his soul lies naked.
- Samuel Johnson

“I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.”- Dalai Lama

I/R Author, Selena Illyria was born with need to write and an over active imagination. She loves to write stories featuring futuristic cities that can only be imagined, visit island kingdoms of vampire/dragons, giggle with mischievous pixies, peek in on faeries looking for their mates, check in on the naughty staff of an exclusive academy, and sigh over how in love a powerful business exec is with his wife. She can’t wait to write stories with her talented, creative and wonderful CPs Celia Kyle begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting and Shara Cooper. And when she’s not writing, she loves to read many different genres of books. She also loves to watch some of her favorite movies (too many to be named) and televisions shows. She also, loves to listen to some of her favorite musical artists. All of these things help inspire her to write. She does believe in the quote above. She does believe that part of writing does bare a part of the soul.

This had a great fantasy world. Great writing style. But there could have been more creativity with the sexual detail. Certain details made me want to vomit and put the book down

for example: "P#### gushing cream", "P#### clenched at the sight of his c###", "fluid seeped down to her a###".

I love sex scenes in my books but with finesse and creativity. For godsake don't just look at a couple of pornos and write a book! It sucks because the characters and the idea behind the story was really entertaining but the sex threw me out of the book! I will not be reading anymore of this author.

Okay read. The story is about biracial romance between a female vampire with the ability to do dark magic and male vampire/wolf with some pretty strange abilities of his own. The both seem to be scared of the others ability because they don't know the extent of the other powers and neither will share that knowledge.

They are after a female vampire that has gone rouge and over to the dark side.

If the author is going to do the heavy sex she is going to have to get more creative. The story line wasn't bad at all the sex though, after the first scene left a lot to be desired.

I would like to read Adrian's book because he seems like the comedian of the group.
