Coach Yourself to a New Career:
I really enjoyed this book. While I'm still not exactly sure what my perfect job is, I'm definitely closer to defining it now :) There were lots of great exercises, fun to do and quite enlightening. It's not exactly a masterpiece of psychology, but a good set of practical ideas, and I'm definitely going to implement some of those.
I have to say that I'm surprised that the overall ratings of this book are so low. I really enjoyed it and got alot out of the exercises. If you are looking to make a career change, this book might have some ideas about how to figure out what YOU want before looking for that next gig.
Found this book to be a pretty fantastic life coaching book. Learned a lot about myself from the exercises, and it helped me think about myself in ways I wouldn't have otherwise.
I had a lot of fun reading this book and learned a lot about myself. While it may not be totally relevant as we live in unprecedented times in terms of employment rates, this book has exercises that help with mental health, setting boundaries, knowing what you want out of life and gaining confidence. I recommend if you're feeling lost or stuck in life!
Changing career paths wasn't on my radar, until I became a military spouse and life changed quick. This was one career book I read to obtain guidance on changing direction and figuring out what I would like to do next and navigating the in-between transition time.
