I'll be damned; I could have sworn I read this about a year ago, and was reading it for the second time. So, either I was mistaken or I forgot to enter it the first time. Now that I'm thinking about it, I probably read it one of the times our internet service was down. Whatever; I'm not sure if I finished it the first time, but this time I did.

Quite honestly, this book is fairly boring to read all the way through like a normal book. It is actually designed to be a reference book, and is absolutely chock-full of fascinating information about many of the gigs, and most if not all of the recording sessions that Miles Davis played during the years covered. These books are dirt cheap, and well worth having. The author's research was well done, and I fully intend to purchase the similar book on Billie Holiday as soon as that might be convenient...
