Based in Santa Barbara County and with a field office on the East Coast, she specializes in 18th- to 20th-century American and European furniture, fine art, and works on paper. Elizabeth holds degrees from Tufts University, the University of San Diego, and a doctorate from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she explored the psychology behind collecting. She appraises for insurance, estate, charitable, and legal purposes and has served as an expert witness in art theft cases. Elizabeth hosts a weekly radio show and writes a popular column for the Santa Barbara News-Press. She is the author of COLLECT VALUE DIVEST: The Savvy Appraiser and travels the country presenting appraisal events for nonprofits. A member of the Appraisers Association of America, she is USPAP-certified and actively continues her professional education. Elizabeth also consults on building collections, determining value, and planning donations or bequests.

I'm so glad I bought "Stray Magic" from Ellora's Cave. This book contains two stories about shapeshifters, both of which were sexy and moving. I would probably classify this as romantica or erotica lite!

Stray Thoughts by Elizabeth Stewart is a very moving story about a woman who adopts a very special cat. Suddenly everything in her life seems to go her way...is she crazy or is her cat really not a cat?
Sweet, sweaty sex with a lover who just wants to please you!

Believe in the Magic by Cait Miller is the first story of her 'magic' series about shapeshifters looking for their lifemate. Megan is content with her job and her friends. Two stories. Stewart's Stray Thoughts is OK, but I thought the actual romance could have used a little work. Not sure I really saw the relationship progress as I would have liked.

Loved the second one. Even though she is her mate, he wrestles with whether to make her his, especially with the results if she walks away. Should he make her his, let her walk away, or tell her and have her stay because of her good heart. Plus a killer on the loose adds that bit of excitement to the story.
