Lacey Clark's father and employer has told her that she had to attend his latest party because she would be receiving an award for her popular magazine column. Bored and wanting to leave, Lacey wanders into the mansion's indoor pool area and saves a good-looking guy who just fell in. Both are soaked and can't go back to the party; but they can take advantage of the off-the-charts chemistry between them. When her father comes looking for her, she finds that her nameless lover is none other than her fellow columnist Nate Logan...her sworn enemy. And her father has a surprise...he wants Lacey and Nate to collaborate on a story.

This is a contemporary romance where the hero and heroine sleep together, then finally take the time to get to know each other. My rating: 3.5 Stars.

Into the Fire by Leslie Kelly (Harlequin Temptation Heat #872) is a fun battle of the sexes between columnists Lacey Clark and Nate Logan, who write for competing women’s and men’s magazines. When they meet unbeknownst to them, then are assigned to a joint project, it’s rather transformative.

An entertaining story with some heat!

Nice one although a little underdeveloped. It may have benefited by exploring further the relationship between the heroine and her parents and her biological father. Also the hero and heroine barely had a relationship. They are rivals, each writes a column, sort of he said she said for their respective magazines. They have a hot night together before they find out who each other is. Then are roped into working on a collaborative article. They hve one more hot night together before they decide to lay off sex for the sake of their article, but we see no further development in their relationship until both are suddenly in love w each other. Oh well...
