I thought this book was alright, but wasn't the best example of a translated Seerah (biography of the Prophet s.a.w.). I expected it to not go into a ton of detail since it clearly says it's an abridged copy. I was disappointed however in the way they editors went about shortening it. I thought that it left out key details in important events, so much so that at parts I was confused as to what was even going on. I also was disappointed to see that about a third of the book was about events after the death of the Prophet (s.a.w.); I would rather those pages have been used to go into more details about the stories during his life than afterwards. I will say though that the editing was pretty good, so I wasn't struggling to understand what the translator meant. Overall, I would say skip this book and read The Sealed Nectar instead; it's longer but is worth it.
