Halie doesn't expect to meet her prince charming on one of the scariest nights of her life, but there he is, talking her down from a panic attack. When he offers her an insane idea, can she trust him enough to submit in the most embarrassing ways?
Nathan can't help but fall for the sweet, curvy woman he met while on the job, but they say you can't control who you fall in love with. The only thing he's not sure of is if she will trust him enough to be her Daddy.
This is an ABDL story between two consenting adults. Please read all trigger warnings before reading this book.
This story is an early piece of work by Kate Oliver. Please be kind with your reviews.
Kate Oliver has aspired to be an author all her life. From the time she was known as "that girl who always has her nose stuck in a book", Kate Oliver has wanted to be a writer. Currently, fetish romance is her favorite for both reading and writing. Kate has been a part of the fetish community for many years, and strives to write stories that realistically reflect that lifestyle. Her favorite part of writing her own books is dreaming up the hot and steamy, yet loving and strict, Daddies that Littles dream about.

Halie is really stressed about her job as an ER nurse. And when her best friend ends up in the hospital after being drugged at a club, she has a full-on panic attack. One of the EMT's who drove them to the hospital helps her through the panic attack. And later he asks her out on a date.
After dating for a few weeks, Nathan approaches Halie about trying something new with him that he thinks will help her stress levels. He's into the whole DD/lg dynamic and he wants her to try it with him.
So, I'm not a huge reader of DD/lg, but I do enjoy it from time to time. I've read enough of the kink to know that I enjoy many of the aspects about it, including the (sometimes) age gaps, caretaking aspect, and some aspects of the age play.
But I have never stumbled upon a DD/lg story that incorporates the use of diapers and the woman actually being required to use them for the bathroom. I can safely say that this part is very much not for me. I don't understand the appeal, especially the fact that Nathan actually expects her to use the diapers for all of her bathroom needs. This is just...yeah, not for me.
Other than that I liked how sweet and protective Nathan is. I liked the rules and discipline aspect.
But I can't say I felt any chemistry between them. Everything felt very cold and robotic. There wasn't any passion or love in their relationship.
The other thing I didn't love was that there is virtually no sex in this whole story. There is only one sex scene. There is a very strong emphasis on the age play and whole diaper thing. And pretty much no sex. Again, not getting the appeal.
Then there's the fact that there are degrees of DD/lg kink. Some couples play in the bedroom/at home, but turn it off in public. That is not the case here. Halie is expected to wear her diapers and be a little even out in public and (to me) this makes the whole thing entirely unappealing. I can't imagine living like that 24/7.
Overall this one is just too deep into the kink for me. I like to dabble in DD/lg books from time to time, but this one takes it to a place that I'm not comfortable with and that's frankly just really gross to me.

This is a lovely story about a girl who doesn't know about the lifestyle and she's open-minded to experience Ddlg with her new boyfriend. It's a very good book for new commers to the lifestyle or if you are just curious because it's very descriptive, objectively throughout the story, which I found really great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would have loved to see the story bumping into an obstacle and hot it affects them as a couple and how they deal with it, it's a beautiful love story and I'm definitely reading the next book in the series but I do feel that is too pink, too unrealistic, too perfect it that makes sense. I love the author and her work and how she manages to describe the vulnerability, honesty and respect that such an age play relationship requires.
Great story with lots of love and snuggles. A strong alpha Daddy helps his forever girl find herself and teaches her how to release the stress of the outside world. I highly recommend this book.
This was a quick yet enjoyable read. Not my usual style not gonna lie but it was fun to go through in one sitting. I really liked the base that the couple went through, he didn’t claim possession over her instantly and locked her up ( touch her die or whatever no), it leaned more to consequences, dating for awhile, then introducing the lifestyle for an unexperienced partner, both are normal with normal jobs, but I wish we got more depth into their relationship daily lives the hardships and how would they deal with each other’s problems together. This felt like rainbows and colorful flowers and happiness all over, I needed more texture for me to go into it.
So enjoyed reading this story. Everything about Halie was wonderful. A good friend and a wonderful babygirl. She met her daddy when her friend Ava was given something in her drink and they had to call the ambulance. He was a paramedic, and after his shift took time to see how she was doing. From there a friendship started then progressed. Without any spoilers let me just say i loved Nathan for Halie, he really was a wonderful daddy.
I really do love reading these books by Kate Oliver, she is fast becoming another must read author!!
So short 😫 I need more. I mean I like the submissive part of this daddy dom/ litltle I liked but the rules that he placed for her after the safety part is a bit much for me. Like permission to go out…And the doing the number 2 in the diaper gave me the ick. I didnt mind the going number 1 in the diaper but nope with the number 2. I’m glad that he laid out the rules for her and let her decide. But with these books by this author I wish it wasn’t so short 😭 I’m excited to read colt and ava. Though i agree ava did pressure hailey to drink, didn’t like that.
If you like “Bigs” and “Little’s” you will love this book. It is well written, with love❣️ Halie needed a Daddy to care for her. She was overworked and beyond stressed as she as a nurse in the ER. Nathan met her on a emergency call, as he was an EMT. I give this book and the author five stars❤️❤️❤️.
This is one of Kates earlier books and although short it’s a good read and if you’re new to the DDlg dynamic a good starting point. Whilst not heavy on the scene the book focusses on introducing Halie to the dynamic and explaining what it consists of and then Halie’s experience and how it makes her feel.
You can kind of tell this is before the author really found her voice. It's a sweet little story about beginning age play and finding your one but both of the characters feel a little one dimensional. It's not a bad story and the editing is good, it just doesn't have a lot of meat to it.
I was hesitant about reading this book with it being how short it is. But it surprised me and was actually very good. I liked that it didn't rush into things but also didn't take forever. I have found When reading a book this short sometimes its either things happen to quickly or take forever then its rushed. I'm glad this wasn't the case. I would definitely recommend
You will enjoy seeing Halie fall in love with her new Daddy Nathan but also learning what the DD/lg lifestyle is all about. Kate Oliver is a fantastic writer.
Personally I am not a fan of reading when littles are forced to regress to a certain age or for example- diapers but otherwise the story was good. I prefer when they discuss what both sides would like and agree on it
I enjoyed reading this story. It was an introduction to DD/lg dynamics and didn’t jump right into the hardcore aspect of that lifestyle. I enjoyed that he was a more laidback Daddy.
Halie and Nathan are so adorable together!! They both work in the same field being medical workers but Halie just can’t seem to separate when she’s done for the day. Bring in big Daddy Nathan and she gets to enjoy some Little time and fall in love with the sweetest man!
What a cute and short story. Halie such a strong women even when she was so stressed from being a nurse in the ER. I can't wait to read book two in this series.
