My library has a book review blog in which I participate. No plans to start up any other sort of blog, but I was interested in what best practices might be. This short guide covered some very useful topics (accessibility, usability, marketing, SEO, etc.). It also covered topics such as gathering statistics about your blog (so useful in these days of quantitative data as king). I'd heard or read about all the topics covered in this book, but having it all in one place when a library is considering starting up the time-suck that is a successful blog would be very useful.

It's an okay basic book, with a lot of good tips. Sadly, the edition I read was outdated, and a lot of the services mentioned in the book don't exist anymore.
