On a throwaway mission to investigate one of the universe’s oldest and most insignificant mysteries, two space cadets find themselves trapped on a floating garbage ball amidst the most valuable junk storm in history.
Author's Note: This Space Junk short is a prequel of sorts but is meant to provide a different experience depending on what point in the series it is read.

I received this book free from a StoryGraph giveaway.
This was a quick read. Having not read any of the other Space Junk works, though I know this was meant as a prequel, I’m not aware of what it was really setting me up for. It was rather enjoyable, but I think it was unsuccessful in creating its own slang. “Chit” and “chidiot” does feel that creative to me, not to mention putting “space” in front of units of time just seems to be trying too hard. It was all rather distracting to me.
As a piece of literature, it was just fine. I can’t say I’m pulled in to read further but I’ll grateful for the free opportunity to explore this work.
This was my first Space Junk book. It was funny and a very quick read. I'll admit that I didn't realize it was a prequel when I started it. I wish that I had read the other books first because I felt a little lost in the beginning. I got more into it as the story continued. I'm intrigued and feel that I'm more likely to pick up the original series now that I've read this prequel.
I received a free copy of this book. My review is honest and freely given.
I think this may be the worst thing I've ever read and I teach elementary English in a foreign country. It is extremely juvenile, tosses you into a world with no actual introduction, and does not tell anything at all except a bunch of nonsense.
