Kevin MacDonald is an American psychologist. He is a retired professor of psychology at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), best known for his controversial application of evolutionary psychology to characterize Jewish behavior as a "group evolutionary strategy." He is currently the editor of the Occidental Observer, which he says covers "white identity, white interests, and the culture of the West." He is the author of more than 100 scholarly papers and reviews, and he is the author of Social and Personality Development: An Evolutionary Synthesis (1988), A People That Shall Dwell Alone: Judaism as a Group Evolutionary Strategy (1994), Separation and Its Discontents: Toward an Evolutionary Theory of Anti-Semitism (1998), and The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements (1998). He has also edited three books, Sociobiological Perspectives on Human Development (1988), Parent-Child Play: Descriptions and Implications (1994), and Evolutionary Perspectives on Human Development (2004).

In October 2004, MacDonald accepted the Jack London Literary Prize from The Occidental Quarterly, using the award ceremony as an occasion to argue for the need for a "white ethnostate" to maintain high white birthrates.

In 2010, MacDonald accepted a position as one of the eight members of the board of directors of the American Freedom Party, which declares America a white Christian nation and advocates for limiting "non-white" immigration into the United States.

A fascinating overview of Jewish influence on American political and social structures, with a specific emphasis on the neoconservative movement.

The book consists of three essays which deal with the way influential Jewish individuals use various tools at their disposal to enact changes in society that conform to their self-interests as a group. The first article looks at background traits that are conducive to social influence: ethnocentrism, intelligence and wealth, psychological intensity and aggressiveness. These coupled with moral particularism and self-deception coupled with the tendency among ethnocentric groups to coalesce into authoritarian groups in case of danger proves very effective in maintaining high levels of social positions (e.g. academia, media, government) and policing the narrative to their advantage (such as the constant evocation of the Holocaust whenever a point of contention is brought up in regards to Judeo-centric policies). This leads to the second essay in which the most fervent and radical expression of this Jewish tendency is found in Zionism, which began as a nationalist movement with racialist undertones by a mostly disaffected Eastern European Jewery, over time entering the political mainstream and becoming an important means of Jewish identity (with associated risks of being labeled as carrying a “dual loyalty”), manifesting itself violently in the case of Israeli settlements and Likud belligerence (and the anti-Jewish sentiments arising as a reaction), thus heightening Jewish ethnocentrism. Subsequently, in the third and final article, neoconservatism is highlighted as being a mainly Jewish intellectual and political movement furthering particularly Jewish interests (e.g. aiding Israel, encouraging immigration etc.) with the use of non-Jews as a convenient front to mask its actual task at hand. The author goes in-depth at looking into the evolution of neoconservative thought from both intellectuals of a Trotskyist background as well as traditional anticommunist Democrats with a penchant for liberalism, united in their quest for building a society conducive to Jewish interests (the section on Strauss’s ideal society is particularly insightful), highlighting the role they played in fanning the flames of war for Iraq and asserting Israeli supremacy in the Middle East (with significant backing from the American Jewish community it might be added). Finally, the author closes by noting the extraordinary influence that Jewish individuals hold over American political life, whose shaping of its foreign policy is instantiated through the various think-thanks and pro-Israel lobbies emanating from the machinations of admittedly clever and ethnocentric people. As MacDonald himself notes: "History also suggests that anti-Jewish reactions develop as Jews increase their control over other peoples. As always, it will be fascinating to observe the dénouement."

This was my first ever approach to the JQ in an academic manner, having been familiar with the author’s works to some extent (but never actually going through them). As far as I’m concerned, it really does make one think about the numerous issues affecting people throughout the world and wondering whether there isn’t some behind the scenes action going on to which we’re not privy to.

Alas, only time will tell…

Very similar read to mein kampf - essentially a bigoted (and paranoid) account of how a people who account for less than 2% of the world's population control the planet. If you're going to spend your money- might as well go for mein kampf as the message is the same.

Typically stellar work from Kevin MacDonald. If you want to understand the JQ, you should probably read him before anyone else.

This is a well researched book that expands on the subject of jewish influence in the US and provides a multitude of references.

This book, or rather a collection of articles, is for readers well versed in this subject and doesn’t explain the basic premise. This makes it very difficult to follow and understand.
