This would be a 4.5-5 stars for me :) Honestly some parts were subpar & blah (maybe 3 star worthy), but I can overall say this has breathed new life into my spirit & vision for my “everyday”. So good & a great, fresh perspective on the Beatitudes — first half unpacked the beatitudes then the second half was wonderful practicals/applications/vision for how to live this life as a beautiful offering each day. And then that last chapter was just 🔥🔥🔥 filled with so many “yessss!!!” or “!!!!” or “amen”s written in the margins. I was planning to give it 4 stars but this book finished sooo strong those last few chapters. Whether this was just very timely for me in this season or truly a timeless read for anyone, I definitely plan to reread & refer back to this book often. Thankful!

I applaud Angela Thomas Pharr on her ability to apply Jesus poetic Sermon on the Mount to our messy, upside down, everyday lives.
A Beautiful Offering was published 24 years ago. I recently purchased it from KARM (Knoxville Area Rescue Ministry Thrift Store) this book is truly a Beautiful Offering.

A wonderful book and I chose to do it as a personal Bible study. It really help answer some questions I had and open my eyes to things I did not realize.

Angela shows us through God's Word how we can be a beautiful offering to God through "becoming women whose lives mirror the active, living, changing power of Jesus", by "a deep thirst for right living and intimate fellowship" with Jesus, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, and existing to satisfy the Master.

Absolutely life changing

What an awesome read! Inspiring, encouraging, uplifting, true. Gets to the heart of true Christianity and shows us the way to be a beautiful offering by following the narrow road. Not a rigid rule following road but the road of loving as Jesus loves.

I loved getting to read and get a deeper understanding of the Sermon on the Mount. I loved how real and relatable Angela's writing is because it made the book easy to read and dive into. I loved the thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter so that I can actually apply everything to my own life. This was such a wonderful book and I definitely recommend it!!

It had some really great things in here. I've been blessing with never having a low self-esteem about myself, (nor did I think I was the "it" either) So some points of this book I didn't connect with, but the things I did really hit home.

This was a good follow-up book to Do You Think I'm Beautiful? It was a new way of looking at the Beatitudes.

Simple, yet profound. Easy to read, yet theologically deep. Practical and life-changing. Based on one of my favorite Scripture passages. I really liked it!
