Imagine if it was possible to know your date of death - would you want to know?
Via ancient and modern methods, a way has been found and Exit Date becomes accessible and normalised.
Set across three story parts, we follow five individuals at a point in 2035 who are dealing with that burden of knowledge. They tell us with stark emotion and escalating tension what it feels like to have Exit Date in their ordinary lives.

For Melanie it could be the way to exact savage revenge upon a despised father, whereas Karim's knowledge of his date of death makes him wish that he hadn't found out - potential partners seem to abandon him.

Family may be angry that a loved one has requested their date, but to Greta it is liberating, exciting even and she welcomes the knowledge to sort out her affairs in old age.

Kelly wonders if it will help her cope with a medical issue, getting her husband alongside however, takes them to breaking point.

And how would Robert, a suicidal depressive, benefit from the knowledge? He struggles to comprehend the concept.

Only one thing is for sure - once you know, there is no way of erasing Exit Date from your mind...

I'm the pseudonymous author of the Public Attraction trilogy. While I can't tell you more about myself, I can tell you about my likes: crushed red peppers; dark eyes; driving in fall; mysteries.
