Lo mejor es el final cuando se queja de los periodistas y que nadie le cree. Osea, debe haber sido divertido el ida y vuelta de la época porque esta persona vivió y dice que hace las locuras que dice. La verdad es re inverosímil. Quizas en otros libros da mas detalles de sus habilidades, pero en este solo se queja de las cosas que le hace la burocracia de los paises occidentales. En fin, me da curiosidad saber que fue de este tipo pero el libro me aburrió por momentos. Es mas, en un momento habla de Heinrich Harrer pero no lo menciona y la rivalidad entre ellos debe haber sido interesante.

This slimmer volume in the Rampa series presents four chapters in a more conventional biography format. It finally reveals “this side” of the “Other Side” of the transmigration story by sharing an interview with the Englishman who gave up his body for the psychic transplant of the spirit of Lobsang Rampa.

It gives the sense of how ordinary a life a person can live, and yet harbour something much greater than themselves despite their “smallness”. Whether you take this as actual circumstances or metaphorical, surely it shows that anyone can make a bigger difference in the world than they may consider possible while remaining in their own origins.

When the imagination is fired, the desire to act upon it becomes possible. When the ordinary limits action, the imagination can still ignite action within others more capable of the movement the originator conceives.

The ability to discern which are worthwhile stories to embody and which are better left within the confines of an active imagination is always the human dilemma, and the social challenge.

Siempre es interesante abordar una aventura de Lobsang Rampa. Digo aventuras porque no veo otro modo de tomarlas ya que hay algo que parece ficción y algo que, a su vez, parece real. Los toques de humor y lo anecdótico siempre hacen más divertidos sus libros como en este caso. Me parece que se merece 3 estrellas porque, en comparación a otros libros suyos, no aporta mucho más sino que parecería tratarse de un resumen de otros libros con la salvedad de la carta que expone del canadiense. Si alguien quisiera arrancar por un libro de Lobsang Rampa recomendaría los primeros (el tercer ojo, el médico del tibet o quizás la caverna de los antepasados) ya que aparecen otras aventuras de sus primeros años que recuerdan un poco a la serie de Avatar, el último maestro aire (y no me extrañaría que estos libros hayan inspirado dicha serie animada). Lo que sí es cierto, es que los libros de este autor siempre pueden aportarte algún grado de reflexión sobre algún tema. Esto hace que valga la pena su lectura.
