Not the most innovative book, but gets down the solid basics for success (in any career really): visualize your ideal and take at least one step towards it every day. I've heard a lot about positive affirmations, but I also really like Travers idea about asking positive questions instead of self-defeating ones. This book is worth a look, though it may not be necessary to read all the chapters in depth.

It is an excellent book that gets into the mind of the reader. It also has a workbook so you can figure out just what you want in the show buisness industry. This is the kind of book where you only get out what you put into it.

A fantastic book on the business of acting, as well as some inner work. Really it is fantastic for any small business owner starting out, but the verbiage is geared towards actors.
