Obviously this is part of a series about the Dante family and their family legend, Dante's Inferno. I don't think it makes a difference if you've read any of the other books in this series; This story works as a stand-alone. I liked the pace of the story, especially when the hero and heroine have their falling out. It would have been easy to draw out this part, but the author chooses to have events occur which force the hero and heroine to work through their problems, instead of stewing in them. B- rating.

Typical alpha male who is never going to get married but jumps into bed pretty quick. Much of the story predictable and I started skimming but did finish. The family forces Luc to babysit heiress Tea and sparks fly at their first touch.

I liked it. It's a shame Tia's family understood that they should get their shit together and stop pestering her so damn late. My main gripe with this book is Sonya. Why do so many authors insist on making widows/widowers realise they didn't truly love their dead spouse? If anything I think her telling Luke she didn't really love her first husband makes her moving on much less impactful than if she were to say time heals wounds and she found another good man who helped her. He's not afraid of losing a sex partner or parent of his children, he's afraid of what it'll do to him to lose his soulmate. It's a good thing the rest of the book was good so I can overlook this bullshit.

Another Dante male determined to believe that “The Inferno” is a legend and that he won’t fall prey to it. However two determined grandmothers place Luc and Tea in daily contact and make sure that they are caught in a compromising position….

This was a great book and I loved Tea. She’s fun, a little lost and more than intelligent, but she made Luc fall to his knees.

Luc is the security time in the Dante diamonds and now he was kinda blackmailed by his grandmother to keep save Tea de Luca, she’s a friend of the family and he doesn’t want to work following a spoiled girl, but discovered that she’s very different and family is important to her.

I liked how Luc handled the crazy life that Tea was trying to jungle and he also discovered the stealing happening in her business, plus the sexy scenes were really good and hot.

SD2017 Jun 2010 Dante's Legacy #5 and Man of the Month Luc Dante is determined to avoid the Dante Inferno. He has vowed to never marry, and then his grandmother and one of her friends force him to guard Tea deLuca. Their reason is she's at risk do to having to much on her mind. She is almost run over by a cab crossing a busy street, he saves her. Luc suspects the guard thing, but suspects things going on in the Billings Gold Co. need watching. Interesting story of strong female and male characters. I like the families of both and the continuation of the characters from previous Dante books.

I enjoyed this book very much but wished I had of read the previous books in this series. Although this novel is a stand alone I might have understood the characters a little more if I had read them in order. This is the story of Luc and Tea. Luc is hired by his grandmother and her grandmother to be her bodyguard. They thinks she needs protecting before she inherits the family fortune in six weeks (apparently she is quite clumsy). Sparks fly (almost) when the two meet. Is it lust or the infamous Dante Inferno curse (you will have to read to find out what the Dante Inferno is).
