101 books109 followersI was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio in 1974 and lived there until 1980 when my family moved to Rayland, Ohio. I'm the youngest of four children with a huge age gap between us.
I began writing while in school as extra credit for English class because while I love to write and to read certain aspects just don't come easy. I've been writing steady since I was thirteen. I was homeschooled by a school-sent tutor due to illnesses and still graduated in 1993 from Buckeye Local High School with honors.
My main genre has always been action/adventure stories. My series, Celtic Evil, is my first foray into the world of paranormal/romantic suspense. I have written poetry though I can mainly do this in times of stress or emotional strife.
I still live in Rayland with my family and several spoiled animals.

This book continues on following the main cast of brothers who are family-band cum ledgends come to life. Rose gives more depth and story to her characters and the plot, this time taking Ian Fitgerald as the lead. The relationships with his brothers and good friend Molly are very touching and the most fun about the book, although there is a lot of action and paranormal goings on.

Awesome story!!! A complex, exciting story with relationships that are completely believable!! The paranormal aspect are varied and always surprising. Had a hard time putting it down...Can't wait for the next installment!!! Hope it's Ryan!

I am enjoying this series. I find that I am thinking about the characters when I am not reading, and looking forward to what happens next.

Sierra Rose brings to us book two in the smouldering and exciting Irish series Celtic Evil. This book focusing on baby brother Ian , who as a child when their parents passed away he was adopted out. Now Sebastian and Kathleen his grandmother who has a streak of evil are back and want revenge and death-not particulary in that order. Knowing that the only one to lure the infamous Fitzgerald brothers out is by capturing their young'un Ian. Though what they didn't bargain on is little Molly Jackson who though from America has some strong Irish roots in her, Molly is Ian's best friend. After an accident with Ian's friend , Ian disappears and nobody seems worried except maybe Molly. Molly whilst searching for clues , gets a suprising and uninvited visit from Ian's dead for fifteen years father Toryn. Toryn's message for Molly is simple enough-go to Ian's Brothers home and tell them what has happened. On any other occasion this would have been a simple request , but the Fitzgeralds aren't just any family-they have magic . Now Molly along with the help of the Fitzgerald brothers and their girlfriends must come together and join forces to save Ian from their evil grandmother Kathleen and the cunning Sebastian, In this novel we also watch as Molly's destiny unfolds as she strengthns up to save the one person she cares most about in the world - Ian. Celtic Evil is a fun novel which intertwines Irish ancestary , magic and the true meaning of Brotherhood and family and all for one and one for all. A novel that as Sierra Rose explores the rest of the Brothers I am looking forward to many to follow.

I really enjoyed the style of scene breaks in this dark fantasy novel. I thought the "scene settings" stated in bold (to mark a change of setting), added to the excitement and pace of the story. This technique enables the story to cover a lot of ground (quickly--personally, I've never been a fan of extremely long, rambling detailed descriptions of "the setting"), and creates a more `expansive' feel to the geographical scope of the story. On a side note, these scene breaks remind me of certain scene break sections in Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, heh.
Back to Celtic Evil. For example (re: the scene breaks):
Fitzgaren, County Kerry, Ireland, four days later: (Chapter 2)
Trinity University, Ian Fitzgerald's dorm: Dublin, Ireland: (Chapter 7)
Avebury, Great Britain: (Chapter 24)
There's a skillful blend of modern-day and fantasy elements too, without a sense of the author "trying too hard" with the creation/execution of the story. The characters are relatable, and the relationship of the brothers showcases the strength of family ties (something which might be in short supply, the more technologically advanced the human species gets). I also enjoyed the ease and comfort the author has with writing about subjects/content that are related to magic/witchcraft--these vivid scenes enliven the interactions between the characters. I look forward to trying some of this author's other books (like S.E.A.L. Team Omega, that falls into the adventure genre!).

The baby of the family must match wits with the evil warlock Sebastian after he has him Kidnapped and a classmate viciously murdered and for awhile nobody even knew or cared that he was missing.But that changed when his good friend Molly got involved and contacted his brothers. He also had to deal with a deluded foster mother,satanic cult and a sacrificial lamb that wasn't suppose to be. Loved the supporting characters from the grandparents to Andie McCabe,Riordan, Molly and even Molly's dad when he shows up.. It's a great series so far and if you like a lot of action,comedy,with and a little snarkyness with bickering humor along the way, you'll like this series

2nd in the series. great stories, good charachters, romance, suspense, danger, intrigue, romance...a good read for those who love paranormal romances.
