This was as close to a self-help book as I've ever read. Triathlon is near and dear to me but this was more a warning against letting it consume your life than it was a guide to Ironman training. He repeatedly makes the point that you can fit triathlon into your life, not your life into triathlon, but it's clear that something ALWAYS gets sacrificed.
