Formal Concept System in Artificial Intelligence

Rate this book
As the basis of a variety of intelligent behavior occurrance and successful implementation, the formalization of the concept system is extremely important in the simulation of intelligent behavior. In the first chapter, Hui Wei, the author, tells the attributes that an ideal concept system formalization method should have, from the angle that intelligent behaviors are highly associated. He describes the central role and important position of the concept system in the algorithmization and application deepening process of different intelligent behaviors. In the second chapter, the author reviews the history of the development of the concept system formalization method from two traditional artificial intelligence knowledge representation and cognitive psychology memory modeling. In the third chapter, the author gives a realization method of dynamic proposition net concept representation and problems solving which are based on the infiltration thought . In the fourth chapter, the author makes a brief introduction of representation restatement view in psychology, discussing its shortage. He also puts forward his envisage of how this thinking applies to the concept development and concept system construction. In the fifth chapter, based on the basic process of representation restatement, the author makes detailed argument on the concept acquisition and the implementation of the representation of development and form, with object-oriented formalization tool. In the sixth chapter, the author proposes a realization method of concept form representation and non-limited problem-solving, which is based on framework composite. In the seventh chapter, the author discusses that the intelligent system is a whole to meet the constraint of systematicness and relevency, from the developmental psychology view. It promotes the research on knowledge representation to the horizon that the research on representation is able to expand the research of intelligent behavior simulation, hoping to help apply the essence of different disciplines to artificial intelligence research. It is regarded as a suitable book for graduate students and researchers who are engaging in the research of artificial intelligence and cognitive modeling.
