Presents information about the modern American artist, Keith Haring, along with a number of his pictures accompanied by "stories" about what they depict
Keith Haring (1958–1990) grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to New York in 1978 to enroll in the School of Visual Arts. Over the following decade, he made some of the most widely recognized artwork of the twentieth century.
If you’re looking for a Keith Haring biography for young children, try Keith Haring: The Boy Who Just Kept Drawing instead of this. I loved the full page art in this book. I also think it’s nice to see how different people interpret the meaning in Keith Haring’s art, but I felt a bit let down in the writing format. I wanted more insight into his life.
