i used to use this book (and all the others in the "films of ..." series, bette davis, errol flynn,etc) to set my alarm clock for 2 am so i could watch old hollywood movies. i was 12.

Possibly not the book I read/studied for the Trivia bowl but close enough. I did a lot of those "Films of" coffee table books to prepare. Most came from the CU or the Boulder Public Libraries. Date read is approximate.

Excellent book. Humphrey Bogart definitely deserves the title of Best Actor ever.
