Midnight has been trapped in Master Julius' estate for three months. Three months of loneliness. Desperate to escape, Midnight can only think of one man. Danger. Just his name, makes Midnight's fangs tingle. When Midnight and Danger finally collide a new world of possibilities will open up to Midnight and thrust him feet first into a relationship he doesn't remember.
I love to write and I hope you love reading my stories. I live in Phoenix, AZ, happily married to my hubby for seventeen years and have two beautiful teenagers. A daughter who has just learned t drive and is a senior this year and a son who is as obsessed with his video games as I am with my writing. My family is my strength and my heart. They are always there for me and support me no matter what is going on. They are my blessing in life. Please visit me at http://buffychristopher.com/
The first to this is Upon Midnight and I have to say that even though both stories are rather short they are appealing and have great potential as an upstanding series. In the first Midnight is sired by the master vamp and it's based on him waking to realizing what he's been turned into. In this one he meets Danger who was his lover when he was still mortal and remembering him. Remembering they were lovers before the chaos of being 'turned' and escaping the clutches of the master.
The way it ends, I will not say, has me believing that there has to be more and there is more to this. It's just a matter of when the next installment will be released.

In this second installment about Midnight, he finds his former love, Danger, and we get a little glimpse of why Julius turned him. Whereas Julius seemed loving in the first book, he's definitely not here. Again, this one ends with most of the questions unanswered, requiring a wait for the next installment.
This second chapter in this series gives you glimpse into the past of main characters and what actually happened to them. It's good read, but giving out chapter by a book is silly in my mind.
