Kauffeld is a legend, and this book is part of the reason why. He sure loved his rattlesnakes, though I enjoyed his suboc story the most.

I thought this one was better written than his earlier book ("Snakes and Snake Hunting").

Like Snakes and Snake Hunting, I read this over and over. Keeping snakes instead of hunting them, still the same great stories and love of animals throughout.
