Welcome to EXIT: the most deadly and efficient intelligence agency the world has ever known. But when allegiances are compromised, and promises are broken, EXIT begins to implode and terror reigns.

A fast-paced military thriller that will appeal to fans of Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler.

There is a secretive and independent intelligence organisation known as EXIT, funded by five superpowers -- the UK, France, the USA, Germany and Japan. Engaged to do the dirtiest work that none of the funding countries want to touch, EXIT specialises in the removal and replacement of key people - political and religious leaders, scientists, and others with special talents.

There are the Surgeons, who do the removing; and the Dentists, who train the replacements and install them.

When a rift develops between the Surgeons and the Dentists, each division tries to seize power and destroy the other. A covert battle ensues, which stretches from Antarctica to Europe and the Indian sub-continent. The stakes are high; the players, the most deadly in the world ... and there can only be one winner.

Didn't finish it as it wasn't what I expected. The blurb sounded great but the author made it all too technical in describing each and every bit of machinery instead of getting on with the story.

Matthew Reilly style, another Aussie author. Plot driven but with more depth to characters than MR and seemingly well researched. Covert assassination bureau goes bad. Author inserts older male psychosexual fantasies. Jumped the shark for the finale, but who cares? Mindless entertainment and *I enjoyed it. 5.5/10
