The writing is solid. The erotica is vivid and contains BDSM. The torture is thankfully only mentioned, nothing in detail. The culture isn't monogamous but some make it work.

(Explícito). Bueno. Historia corta con final feliz. aquí se sigue la temática de los cambia formas, aka morfos, y algo como que se unen algunos clanes/manadas para luchar y obtener la libertad. Dyauna acepta a Maddox y prácticamente es la escénica de la historia. Al menos le añadieron algo de intriga con el misterio del agresor del libro pasado, aunque todavía no lo encuentran (sabiendo quién es y quien es su cómplice.

Exceptional
I have just recently started a read books from this author. Cyndi Friberg has captured my attention from the very first chapter in her book Untamed Hunger (Alpha Colony Book 1) . Her writing pulls me into the book as if I were there . I highly recommend any of Cyndi Friberg's books , I believe will will not be disappointed. Pick a book any book and enjoy . I will be enjoying reading this very talented, and acclaimed author.

This is the second book in the Alpha Colony series. I rated this book 3.5. I would have rated it 4 stars except there were places in the book that felt a little dis-jointed to me.
We learn a little more about Alpha Colony, DOMA, and the morphs in this book. This book is the story of Dyauna (the rebel leader) and Maddox (the leader of Barbary pride). It's one of intense passion and longing, but will it culminate in them getting together? That is a very good question because there is so much against them made more so because of Maddox being the leader of the pride.
Maddox needs Dyauna to give up on her rebel ways and join in with the rest of the feline clans so that they may take advantage of the opening that was provided to them with the results of the first book in the series. The other clans have indicated that they will join with him in the fight against DOMA if he can convince Dyauna to join with them.
That is easier said than done!
This is a good book and I cannot wait to read the next one in this series.

What a cover! Which doesn't do the contents of the book much justice, by the way. The cover screams smut. And smut there is, but lots more as well.
This is an enjoyable futuristic romance, well-written with engaging characters and a neat storyline of genetic manipulation among humans and shifters, who are kept isolated in the Alpha Colony. Ross moves the story along with Maddox, the Barbary pride alpha seeking to unify the cat shifters, and Dayana, the rebel leopardess who hates the human keepers and wants nothing to do with cats who work with the humans. Ross does a good job in the short length of the book to build a realistic world for the reader, and I am eagerly churning through the third book in the series now.

La verdad es que esta segunda parte me ha sabido a muy poco: casi no avanzan nada las 2 historias secundarias y la de la pareja principal apenas ha tenido interés para mi. ¿La mejor manera para convencer a la protagonista, jefa de su propio clan, de que se una a la alianza es secuestrarla y acostarse con ella? Me da igual que ella le quiera y luego haga lo que la dé la gana. El planteamiento me falla de entrada.
Lo único positivo es que son muy cortas cada una de estas novellas, así que la terminé y creo que terminaré la serie para saber si logran la libertad o qué, pero como no mejore la serie empezaré a saltarme páginas.

Cyndi Friberg has really upped the heat with this series. I'm thinking a cold shower just from looking at the front cover. Hot and scorching, the passion literally leaps from the pages. The world she has created is deadly and dangerous but that doesn't stop a love put on hold to rekindle and grow. Cyanid's characters are larger than life shifters, each with a strength of will, some might call arrogance, others stubbornness. But when paired together they are whole. A short but stunning read, I can't wait to see what else Cyndi has in store for us when it comes to Alpha Colony.

I'm really pleased with this series for my first adventures with shifters. I like the storyline, though I think it could have been more elaborated. But, it being my first time, I am happy the books are not too long and the story doesn't seem pulled by the hair unbelievable which makes it the more acceptable for me. The way this looks, I might venture into some more of the genre if the other books don't bring me some massive disappointment.

Great read
I enjoy all of Me. Friberg's books. They have great storyline mixed with spice. This series is new for me. The books are cliffhangers, I don't often read cliffhangers but the story is too good not to go on.

It wasn't bad. I wanted as much plot/story as I got in the first installment, but the sex was so good.
