Photoshop is one if not the most flexible program for graphics on the market. The program is intuitive enough that a novice can crop and edit their family photos. Yes, it also has enough bells and whistles that professionals use the program to create, edit, layer, and compile photographs, graphics, and video.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 On Demand does a really good job of showcasing what the latest version of Photoshop can do. Like all On Demand books full step by step instructions with color illustrations are provided throughout. Created for beginner to intermediate users, this book starts off with the basics (how to load the program) and then gradually teaches everything from editing tricks, creating custom work using layers, adding effects, and optimizing your finished product.

I have to admit that my favorite part of books like Adobe Photoshop CS5 On Demand is getting the chance to play around with my creativity. Going through the book, I got a lot of great new ideas.
