I loved the story line of this novel.. It was a great read with Tess winning Jaxon and the knowledge that something is different with him... they go on a whirlwind romance...Lots of erotica..if this is not your thing then dont read it/...if it is then it is a great read!

Carrington carries out a well planned plot, an exciting relationship that grows deeper and deeper with time, and a love that literally knows no bounds. 5 stars.

Indigo Spell is a fairly quick, not unpleasant read. If you're looking for steamy love scenes, you'll find them here, for sure. There may, infact be too many of them. As is often the case with erotic novels, the author resorts to some hokey euphemisms for the characters' sex organs (petals of her sheath, anyone?) Still, the characters' encounters will get you riled up.

With that said, the characters lack depth, making it difficult to become invested in their outcomes. I can't help feeling some of the time spent on the sex scenes would have been better spent fleshing out some of the supporting cast a little better. As a result, what should have been two touching scenes at the end of the book lacked conviction and warmth. The book got off to a strong start, then petered out (no pun intended) toward the end. Transitions became sloppy and there's one unnecessary flash back (yay, gratuitous sex!) that I found it hard to care about.

Do I regret reading this? No. Am I invested enough to continue the series? Probably not unless the second book comes up free.

It was ok. It started out really good, charity auction with bachelors for the bidding. Friend bids for her girlfriend Tess who ends up having the winning bid on a sexy construction worker with off the chart sexual chemistry between the two. Turns out he is a wizard and chaos between witches trying to kill Tess, etc. Story didn't really keep my interest in the two main characters as after a while I didn't really care about what happened. I like paranormal stories, but I never connected with the characters and believed in them. The book was categorized as "Erotic" "Sensual" and there was plenty of sex scenes, but I skimmed through the book to the end to find out how the Assembly of Wizards were going to thwart the efforts of the witches on Tess's life and any possible children the witches plan on claiming.

I really tried to get into this book but I couldn't. The concept was good but the execution was lacking. The story was covered up by sex scene upon sex scene. Now I'm not one to turn down a good sex scene but it was overwhelming to the point of exhaustion. The descriptions were comical and uninspiring. I found myself just skipping through just to say I read it.

i liked this one, and it intrigued me enough to buy the next two, but i didn't love it. I was irritated at times with both of the main characters, but again intrigued me enough to get the next two.
