Reading Between the Lines

Rate this book
You will not be able to put down Reading Between the Lines. Daniel Segraves clearly demonstrates how the New Testament writers used the Old Testament to reveal Jesus Christ. It will not only transform your opinion of the Old Testament from that of a history of the people to Israel to a living testimony of Jesus Christ, it will also strengthen your understanding of the oneness of God.

Daniel Segraves is extremely articulate. This book will indeed increase your faith immeasurably as you "Discover Christ in the Old Testament." When you finish reading this book, DO NOT place it on a shelf--it is a "MUST SHARE" book! - John Smelser, Media Missions Secretary.

I love seeing Jesus in the OT and this book has some gems, but this book also suffers from his methodology in places and his overall inconsistent Christology. Back when I had the same denominational affiliation as Segraves, I read everything he wrote I could get my hands on (outside of his Urshan biography). I no longer hold to his denominational distinctives, but I'm thankful for the formation he did provide.
