This book was a nice quick read, although i found the relationship that started between Lara & Reino a bit too quick. Great twist at the end about who the murderer was that killed the girls!
Reino goes to see Lara to find out if any progress has been made on his friend's murder. Lara is in charge of the case. There is instant attraction between them but Lara resists figuring she's too old for him. Reino disagrees and continues to pursue her and even acts as her unofficial back up when she goes undercover. The only drawback for Reino is her dangerous job as a city cop. Lara gives in and and is sleeping with Reino but denies it can go further. This changes after Reino saves her by calling in police back up when her undercover work nets her the bad guy, her partner. When they finally go to Reino's home, Lara agrees to go wherever their relationship takes them including marriage. As topping to the cake, she even mentions on her own transferring to the small town police force in Reino's town.
Hot. Steamy. Young blond Norsk god - Need we say more......Nice fast suspense with a good twist. Love the interaction between the characters as it flows together real well & the story moves at a fast pace.
