I LOVED Sophie & Tank in book 1 & was hoping they’d get a book, so when I heard that book 4 was theirs I immediately jumped to it after book 1🙈 I knew what to expect going into this book, but damn… this hurt❤️‍🩹 Sophie & tank went THROUGH IT😮‍💨 they were truly put through the wringer & couldn’t catch a break. I cried SO much, laughed, swooned, giggled, blushed- it was a roller coaster of emotions but I’m so glad that these two got their happy ending, even if it wasn’t how they originally had envisioned it🥹 there was a bit of suspense & shit kept hitting the fan so I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Sophie has been a firecracker since book 1. She was sassy, wild, carefree, outgoing & boisterous so to have her become this shell of a woman after everything she went though, was heartbreaking. But I’m so glad she picked herself up & learnt how to heal. Tank is husband af!!! The way this man didn’t give up on sophie & fought so hard for the both of them whilst still managing to chase & achieve his dreams was SO admirable. His growth & the difference in his maturity compared to book 1 was so great to witness🥹

Tank & Sophie were the definition of young, wild love back in book 1, but their deep, nature & unconditional love is so evident in this book. They are electric & wild together, and their sexual chemistry is off the charts. They fit together so well. Watching them fight through their battles & grief whilst trying to salvage their love was heart wrenching but I’m glad they made it out stronger & better❤️‍🩹

MF/dual POV/HEA/college sports romance/violence/abuse/grief/pregnancy loss

This is the 4th and final standalone book in the Kings of Denver series. Each book follows a different set of characters and can be read as a stand alone but to get the most of the series it is suggested to read the books in order.

As soon as Miller and Dani’s story was over (book one) I was so ready for Tank and Sophie… but let me tell you.. I’m glad Sheri saved this one for last. Fuck, this one hurt. 🥺

This book takes place five-ish years after the end of college. Our wild and crazy college couple have grown up and settled down… well kinda 😉 They are just as head over heels about each other as when they first met. Tank is playing in the NHL for the LA Storm and striving to be picked as team captain for the upcoming season. Sophie followed her dream and is an investigative journalist. Publishing articles that can lead her into dangerous waters… dangerous waters that will change Tank and Sophie’s life’s forever.

Tank loves Sophie’s fierce, stubborn attitude and he wouldn’t have her any other way. I loved his strength throughout this book. Their situation was rough. Those few chapters were hard. I hurt so so bad for them. Tank was there for Sophie and made sure she knew he was in it for the long haul, he wasn’t going anywhere. This book was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride, and you felt every up and down. We do get to see a lot of Dani and Miller again in this book but it didn’t take away from Tank and Sophie. Seeing the gang back together and all their fun banter did bring some fun light-hearted moments that will give you a much needed laugh. I hate this series is over but it couldn’t have ended more perfectly. 🏒🖤

***PLEASE PLEASE CHECK TRIGGERS***

It wouldn’t be a Sheridan Anne book if she didn’t rip your heart out at some point 😂😭 We fell in love with Tank & Soph in book one, and seeing them go through all this was absolutely heart wrenching.

This book was a fantastic end to this series of standalones. I’m so happy to get to see Soph & Tank again, along with a few of our other favorite couples. I love that despite everything, Tanks faith in their relationship never falters. I love how headstrong and proud Soph is of her job (and that she doesn’t give it up!), and that Tank understands how important her job is to her.

The emotional roller coaster this book takes you on is well worth it! The humor, love, and happiness we get to see & experience all in one book is worth the sadness and anger.

Thank you Sheridan for another amazing book series!

damn ok this book hit hard. so it’s sophie and tank who were side characters in the first book of this series but it’s five years later and it’s starts with sophie being 5 months pregnant (the little announcement from the first book) however she is a journalist and investigates crimes and shit. tank and her r super happy and super cute for a while and tank becomes captain of the hockey team. however sophie is investigating a suspected murdered and then he breaks into their home and beats the shit outta her so she loses their baby and damn that one hit hard. they both get super depressed and she tries to leave him bc sophie thinks it’s all her fault since she didn’t try to drop the case even tho tank begged her too. but tank doesn’t let her leave and they power through which is super impressive!! anyways dani and miller from the first book r their for them (and tbh miller and tank together r so fucking funny like i love them). anyways after several months they start to get over the depression and have a memorial service for their unborn child. eventually christian (the murderer) gets caught but then breaks in again and stabs tank but he makes it out ok. the book ends kinda suddenly where two years later they adopt a daughter but after sophie’s attack she can’t have any kids of her own which is super sad but they finally get to be parents. but it ends right when they get their daughter and it doesn’t really tie in the other books or anything like that so idk how i feel about the ending but it was def not how i expected this book to go after reading about them in the first book of this series

Don't You Pucking Dare is the 4th and final book in the Kings of Denver series. This book was an emotional roller coaster, and I would definitely recommend reading the triggers at the beginning. I'm not one to tear up easily in a book, but this one got me a few times.

Sophie and Tank have been married and are excited to be adding to their family. Tank is an NHL god and Sophie is an investigative journalist. She goes for the tough cases and will do whatever she can to bring down those who have done something wrong.

This book, I don't want to go too much into it because going in blind is the best way, but if something could go wrong, it did. I felt so bad for Tank and Sophie in this book. Every time something would seem to be going better, boom. Something else happened.

Can Sophie and Tank get through everything that is thrown at them? Can they get their happy ending together after everything? I loved getting to know Sophie and Tank, and hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I liked all the others well enough in this series but this was so terrible.

I liked Sophie/Tank as side characters in college in the other books but idk their characters just became insufferable. Tank was so misogynistic and up himself and Sophie was just a massive pick me girl who put herself in horrendous situations whilst pregnant and then was shocked when things didn’t go to plan.
“Oh my gosh why is my rich asf husband annoyed at me for breaking and entering, setting of fire alarms and stealing from people while I’m 5mo pregnant, he’s such an asshat” bro what

Whew Tank and Sophie. They sure did take me on a journey. Sophie is so smart, fierce and independent. All while also loving Tank SO much. Like you can feel their love for each other through the pages. Tank is all in for Sophie and has been since the first time they met. He would literally do anything for her, and he loves the stubborn and fierce side of her. Those attributes get her into trouble but he never blames her for them, he loves her because of them.

There is some mystery and suspense in their story. And oh the heartbreak is real. There are some big trigger warnings here for pregnancy loss. It’s a hard few chapters and utterly heart wrenching.

But I love how they make it through. Tank does not take no for an answer. He gives her some time, but when the time comes he is there and doesn’t let her go. I loved this whole book. Sophie and Tank will be imprinted in your mind and heart.

If you’re looking for mystery, suspense, spice, hot alpha male, fiery amazing FMC, humor, and all of the love, this book is for you. But again mind the trigger warnings, the trauma in this one is real!

Don't You Pucking Dare by Sheridan Anne is an irresistible blend of intense passion, witty banter, and heart-pounding emotion. This sports romance follows the journey of Sophie and Tank, who were introduced in the first book. Drawn together by fate and fiery chemistry, they face obstacles that could tear them apart. The connection between the characters is steamy and keeps readers hooked from start to finish.

What really sets this book apart is its balance of light-hearted moments and deeper emotional undertones.

While the romance is electrifying, be prepared for some intense twists and heavier themes that add depth to the narrative. Content warnings for sensitive topics such as trauma and emotional distress are important to note for potential readers.

Overall, Don't You Pucking Dare is a must-read for fans of sports romance, offering plenty of steam, heart, and a healthy dose of drama. If you're looking for a story that is both emotionally satisfying and utterly captivating, this is the one to pick up!

Sheridan saved the heavy hitter for last... Please make sure you read the content warning before jumping into this one. I read them and was prepared for it, but on the other hand I was not ready.

These two are perfection. I loved them as side characters in book 1. Their life is going their way, in every way, until Sophie starts snooping where she isn't supposed to. When this part came to a head, I cried. It was rough. (Please read the warnings.)

The emotions in this one are so raw. I felt for these two, but also I was rooting for them the whole book. Their love never strayed with all the things they were put through in this.

I was also happy to see Dani and Miller again and see how their life was going. This one kinda brought everything full circle. These books were so good. I have fallen in love with all the Kings of Denver!

Holy H. E. Double-hockey sticks!

The emotional damage of this book was INSANE! The rollercoaster of feelings I was on had me laughing, smiling, giggling, hot, tearing up, in agony, almost crying, hateful, grieving, and then finally whole. The fact that this book is about Tank and Sophie really brings us full circle for this series and it couldn't have been more perfect. I yelled at a fellow reader about how I was an emotional mess and she was laughing at me because she was on that same ride. 😂 If you want plot, steam, and EXTREME PAIN, followed by a happily ever after, this book is for you. I will note to READ THE TRIGGERS/WARNINGS listed as this book may not be for you. Thank you Sheridan Anne for giving us a world to live and love in, and for writing about things that really pulls at our dang heartstrings.

this book follows Sophie and Tank who were Miller and Dani’s best friends in the first book, and I’m so grateful they got their own book, they truly deserve it. this is the only book that follows the characters in the NHL and their lives after college (aside from each books epilogue). it’s so amazing to see how Sophie, Dani, Tank and Miller have grown since the very first book. in the epilogue of the first book you learn about Dani and Millers daughter and that Sophie becomes pregnant, however in this book, Sophie ends up getting caught up in an investigation that is very dangerous and causes her to lose her child, so a lot of the story follows along with Sophie and Tank learning how to fall back in love and become themselves again after the devastating loss and it was so amazing to see Sophie finally start to forgive herself. once again, please check trigger warnings!

The Pucking End. Puck.

What an emotional roller coaster the end of this series was.

Sophie and Tank had me curious from that very first time at the campus gym; and they did not disappoint.

This story pull at the heartstrings like frankly none of the others did. It might be because for ONCE we get to explore the marriage in a sports romance instead of the initial “get together”. The trials and tribulations as well as the comfort that a married couple has with each other, was so much fun to read.

Do I wish the ending was slightly different? Absolutely. I think Tank and Sophie deserved to have little miniature versions of themselves running around, but the current ending is still very sweet. Every mention of their little boy had the ability to bring bucket loads of tears to my eyes. But alas, such is life.

I loved this series wholeheartedly and cannot wait to read Denver Royalty 😩

I wish this book would have been written right after Miller’s book because Dani has the baby and finding out that Sophie is pregnant in the epilogue lines up with the start of this book. The first 2 books started out so strong and I loved them but the last 2 books have been a bit repetitive and I had to push myself to get through them and ended up giving up on this one.

Sophie is so stubborn you knew immediately she would get herself into trouble, especially with all of Tank’s comments about needing to be careful and that she could get herself into trouble chasing murderers and other bad guys for her job. As this series went on it also got less hockey related in my opinion. I love hockey in real life so I prefer my sports book to actually have a good amount of sports scenes in them, however, I know not everyone is that way.

This book follows tank and Sophie. I’ve been waiting for their book since the first oneee!! it’s a dual pov hockey romance. This book takes place around 5 years after college. There still just as in love as when they first met. Tank is playing in the nhl for the LA storm and Sophie is an investigative journalist but it ends up landing her in deeep water that changes their lives forever. I loved tanks strength throughout this book it was fierce and protective. This book is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. The storyline hit hard, how can people be so cruel to hurt another person take a life that hasn’t even begun🥺 and the fact that she couldn’t have kids after that was horrible but they got there angel baby in the end through adoption🥹. On a happy note I love how we got to see a lot from miller and dani in this book it’s nice seeing the gang back together.

I was looking forward to reading this book after meeting Sophie and Tank in the first book of this series! It was heartbreaking and emotional and one I couldn’t put down!

Sophie and Tank suffer a terrible loss in this book and even though it was horrific I loved that they came out stronger in the end.

𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙏𝙖𝙣𝙠. 𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣, 𝙄’𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪.

I was sobbing through most of this book but it just made me love it even more! Sophie was snarky and sassy! She was resilient and strong and even though she went through something no one ever should she had her moments and pushed through them to be happy with Tank

I am so sad that this series is over but I loved it with all of my heart!

🏒𝙳𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝙿𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙳𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚠🏒

This was a super cute/emotional fast easy read.

Sophie is an investigative journalist and has put some bad people behind bars. She sees a story on the news and feels like there is more to it.

She starts investigating and finding things. She is also 5 months pregnant and Tank has asked her to not be so involved since she is in fact pregnant…

Things get intense and sad…

Tyler is a great husband but is dealing with his own feelings and emotions and doesn’t know what to do to help his wife.

She feels like everything is her fault. That she doesn’t deserve him and how can he even look at her after everything..

Tyler is also dealing with Jill, a crazy stalker that thinks he loves her and she does INSANE things!

I really feel like this should have been a spin-off more than the last book of the series. This book takes place many years ahead of the other books and it features a couple that got together in the first book. Those details aside, it is a dual perspective story, his and hers. He plays hockey in the NHL and she's an investigative journalist. I loved her in the other books, I didn't care for her actions or attitude in this book. My heart broke for him repeatedly. Some steam, way more drama than necessary, minimal hockey content, her desire to damn near break the law. This book was very eh for me. I'm glad this series is over, this will not be a re-read for me. Too many tropes attempted to be in this book.

Omg poor Tank and Sophie they can't seem to catch a break with everything that keeps getting thrown at them.  A time when they should be celebrating they are having their hearts breaking instead.  I was either laughing at Sophie and Dani or crying along with them all. Sheridan has you feeling all the emotions, the good, the bad, and the ugly crying.  One thing is for sure Tank and Sophie will come out of everything that has been thrown at them stronger than ever.  I love how Miller and Dani are a big part of their story.

Sheridan Anne, you did it yet again!!!  I am never disappointed with your writing and the wonderful stories you create.

I had to stop many times reading this book in order to compose myself. CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING THIS. The last book in this series takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. For me personally this hits really close to home. Although it was hard to read, I absolutely loved it.
We didn't get to see much of Sophie and Tank after book 1 but I loved seeing their life after college in this one. Also knowing they still have a close relationship with Dani and Miller.
Although this book was hard to read it was a beautiful ending for the series. Because of the similarities I've lived through this book will forever be one I cherish.

Check triggers before reading this book!! It's so good, but it's also a *lot*

I have been looking forward to reading Sophie and Tank's story since meeting them in the first Kings of Denver book. I...was not prepared for this story though. But I wasn't ready for any of this series, they all surprised me in different ways which is great. Sophie and Tank's story was emotional and broke my heart but as always, Sheridan Anne pulled through and ultimately I am glad I read it. Their story is such a rollercoaster but gah, Sophie and Tank are amazing. I could not put this book down once I started. I'm sad the series is over but what a book to end on!!

Tank and Sophie have a love that is all consuming. Tank is the bestest husband ever!!! Man did this book do me in! My heart absolutely broke for them. The tears and emotions were real. It was intense, and painful, and gut wrenching. But there were laugh out loud parts too as well as a bitter sweet happy ever after. This was a fabulous way to wrap up the series. The Dragons - The Kings of Denver - no matter where they ended up are a family of friends that put their love for each other ahead of everything and it makes you fall in love with them and happy you could be a part of their lives even for a little while. Loved them all (Tank is my fave though!)

Well, this book comes and unknowingly destroys you. Check the triggers before reading this book!!!!

Tank and Sophie were introduced in the first KoD book “Not Your Pucking Girl” alongside Miller and Dani. We pick up Sophie and Tank’s story several years after moving to LA, where they are living their life.

To say this book is funny is completely under serving the hilarious hockey quips in this book. I laughed so hard I snorted. That is until a certain event which had my snorts turn to sobs.

Sophie and Tank go through trials, hard times, and suffer in this book, but don’t worry, there is a HEA waiting for you at the end.

For best reading, at least read book 1 of Kings of Denver.

Sheridan Anne closes out the kings of Denver series with this absolutely heartbreaking story of love, loss, and living through grief.

After meeting Tank and Sophie in the first book I was so excited to dive deeper into their story. I loved how dedicated and passionate they were about each other, they never seeming to get enough of each other. They were playful and flirtatious even after all these years.

The struggles they go through in the book were devastating, Sheridan truly made me laugh, cry, and then cry some more, but let me tell you, the journey is worth it. I loved every funny, heartbreaking and beautifully rebuilt moment.

Are you kidding me 😭😭 Tell me why this book is so sad. I adore Sophie and Tank. Their dynamic is perfection. Sophie is such a likeable fmc, she’s got the vibes and she’s very relatable. Tank is a big friendly giant, you just gotta love him. It was interesting to read about a couple who was already married and about their journey with pregnancy. Those couple of chapters just after Soph losses the baby are so heartbreaking. I don’t think I’ve cried that much in such a small amount of time before. They both deserved so much better. I loved their relationship with Dani and Miller, so glad to see they’re all still so close. Such a good book with such a satisfying ending. 4 stars.

Don't You Pucking Dare is the end of the Kings of Denver series of standalones. This book focuses on Sophie and Tank who we met in the first book of the series. This book was such an emotional roller coaster; I laughed a few times, but was absolutely bawling in certain parts. Sheridan Anne wrote such a heartbreaking story, but the way she handled the topics was realistic and she didn't shy away from all the pain.

Sophie is a firecracker! She is wild, but in this book we get to see a more vulnerable side to her. She comes out so strong in the end though. I absolutely love Tank. He is such a devoted husband. I have definitely added him to my list of book boyfriends because he is perfect in so many ways. I loved the cameos with Dani and Miller!

I couldn't put this book down even though I was crying and eating brownies just to deal with the emotional rollercoaster. If you enjoy books that will tear your heart out but put it back together by the end then you definitely need to pick this book up. I would highly recommend checking the trigger warnings though!

Tank and Sophie are total couple goals, passionate, wild, determined then the worst happens, beautifully raw my emotions were going wild.
There was tears, actual moments where you just didn’t want to continue feeling their pain so deep, crying along with them.
The ending was just the most perfect way to end, sealing their whole story perfectly, loved the constant presence of Miller and Dani throughout without removing any focus away from the main couple.
Totally devastated this series has come to an end but it’s ended perfectly.
