I’m Levi, Prez of Newark RMBC.
I mostly have one job—keeping the peace with the Newark Neanderthals and Turnpike Templars.
But since the No-Name gang arrived in our city, truces are being tested and shit-pots are getting stirred.
But recently, something remarkable happened. I found my blood brother, Augustine.
They said he’d died in an orphanage fire after he’d been taken from me when we were kids.
I never believed it and prayed one day he'd come back. And he finally did.
But he's broken beyond recognition. He thinks he has four people sharing his body and mind.
He treats them like roommates and makes me do crazy things to help keep him sane.
Sometimes I don’t know who has control of my brother but I know when he kills,
the carnage he leaves says it’s not just Augustine having all the fun.
Ironically, Augustine's a religious nut. So, the position of Chaplain in my club had his name all over it and he happily filled it. But there’s nothing holy about his other four personalities. Pain, Kult, Harlow and Atlas. Augustine sees them as his brothers, and now, so do I. They handle the devil’s dirty work in our streets, and love it.
But there's a shooting star in this story.
A strange Butterfly that flutters her way into his darkness.
Rattles his monster's cage with her light.
That is my brother's love story to tell.
And while he tells it, I'll be busy hunting down all the monsters who broke him.
This story unravels a man with multiple personalities and spans a six book series. The books follow each other in consecutive order. The psycho thriller and MC genres fluctuate from book to book. Enjoy.

Whether you've read each book as they were published and released or you're just now finding this series, this is one YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!! It includes:
1. Butterfly and Atlas
SWEET BEJEEZUS!!! I so enjoy Lucian Bane's writing style so when I was offered the opportunity to read the first book, 'Butterfly and Atlas', of his "Royal Bastards MC: Newark, NJ" series, I jumped at the chance. I read the blurb and it more than piqued my interest I couldn’t wait to get started. And then it happened. My heart started racing, I went back and re-read the blurb, went back to where I left off in the book and read for a bit more to finish the chapter, closed the book, and went to get something to drink to let my system slow down again. That sounds intense, doesn't it? I promise you, Mr. Bane sucked me in with these six characters until I was completely immersed; curious, intrigued, fascinated, awe-struck, and yet there were those parts that set my own butterflies loose. And this is only the beginning!!! I can't wait to start on 'Butterfly and Pain' next.
2. Butterfly and Pain
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!! There is no way I can even begin to give you a glimpse as to what is going on but this has got my heart racing, I'm flipping through pages so quickly while reading that I look like my grandmother's old cat clock's eyes rocking back and forth. Five men in one body while Butterfly holds the key and she doesn't know how to use it. This is one of the most exhilarating storylines I think I've read in a long time, perhaps ever. There's no way to not become invested in all of them which makes me a little fearful of what will happen if the doors become unlocked. Lucian Bane has created a masterpiece with this series and Pain's story is a small piece in a very large puzzle.
3. Butterfly and Augustine
OMG! OMG! OMG! My heart is racing and I'm literally shaking right now. 'Butterfly and Augustine' just took this storyline to the next level. Its adrenaline-packed erotic scenes are so powerful and the chemistry only adds another layer to that. Then there are all the clues that are being found about the men in Augustine's body. Oh, and don't let me forget the Truce breakers and that whole scenario. Once again, I feel like I was right in the middle of all this and I'm going to step away, get a cup of coffee, calm my system down, and then jump into 'Butterfly and Harlow'. I feel like an addict waiting on my next fix, it's that good.

Once again, Lucian Bane starts a series grabbing you by the throat until he's grabbing you lower, and your stomach is in a twist. Augustine, is the broken brother who thinks he shares his body with 4 other 'brothers', and his 4 'brother' personalities have to learn to cope as a group if they are going to live in one being. At their worst moment, in walks Butterfly, bringing light to their tortured darkness. It seems as if the male characters are a composite of all men, with their lust, anger, worry and need to dominate, always vying for control. And the female is somehow the embodiment of everything that can soothe and heal and bring all the crazy aspects into one rational being. (I love the stories just for that.) Either way, it's always a deep, sometimes painful exploration into the soul and psyche of the characters, but done with a wonderment and excitement about it.
