This book is like an encyclopedia for development and their studies. Since it is written by several authors (an author for each chapter) it has it dryer parts and its more exciting parts.

This book is really a companion for the students of Development Studies. This one and another one named 'Introduction to International Development' are my continuous book for my subject. I read the short chapters of this book selecting through the name. There are different dimensions in different chapters.
