Marinetti was a visionary and deserve to be remembered in Art History. His ideas on how language and the theater should operate is unique. The Untambles included in this anthology is the most poetic writing I have read in years.

What a radical manifesto of it's time. I think it's important to try and understand the context this was written in and how drastically different the circumstances are today. When initially reading this text I was rather critical towards certain aspects however after re-reading it I saw past my personal views and saw the rather beauty of how it was written. It's interesting to understand that this text was pushing the boundaries of the early 20th century, whilst some of the views (eg. towards women) are quite backwards/traditional for us today. Interesting read.
