It’s definitely not pretty-no pics at all. Many recipes call for vinegar which is not my favorite flavor profile. Nothing really stands out and the recipes I’ve tried have been adequate but not great.
This is the most pathetic cookbook I have ever come across. And as for a "diet" cookbook, I haven't read many of those, but the contradictions in the opening statement threw me off straight-away.
Basically they just substitute carbs for fat (ie cheese, cream, mayonaise, etc.) in all the recipes.
They have ridiculous entries for breakfast items too!
Plus the authors' names are way too similar and their photo on the front makes me think of cult leaders.
Okay, so the book didn't slim me for life as it says it will (LOL) but it did offer some great craving - quashing recipes for when you're having a rough day. Mixed bag - some of these recipes were very good and some were very bad.
