Have you fallen in an ice cold lake? Are you chilled and in need of warming up before you deteriorate into full blown hypothermia? Then hope Bobby Blackhawk and Cale Yancey come to your rescue 'cause not only will they save your ass from drowning and blanket your nekkid body on both sides, effectively heating up all of your extremities, but they'll give you lots of orgasms, too! :)
This short story e-book by Delilah Devlin is basically all about the sex between the three main characters, so if that's not your thing or if you're expecting something more, you'll be disappointed. For me, sometimes that's okay--not every book is meant to tax your brain or get you thinking about the meaning of life. Sometimes you just want to escape for a few hours and enjoy yourself. And that's what "Saddled" is--pure escapism.
Katherine Duvall is on the run from a cheating fiancee. Yes, he's cheated in the past, but Katherine's always taken him back. Was it because she was impressed with his wealth, looks, and status, not to mention his skills as a lover, and thought she could overlook the cheating? Probably. But now that she caught him in their hotel room at the ski resort with their waitress from last night, Kate's come to realize that this is what her future holds--a cheating husband who doesn't care enough about her feelings and who only wants a wife to make him look good. So she grabs up her keys and takes off in her rental car in the middle of a Colorado snow storm to clear her head. She never imagines how her life is about to change when her car plunges off the road into an icy creek.
Bobby Blackhawk and Cale Yancey see the car go off the road, and after Bobby jumps into the icy creek and saves her, they bundle Kate up in their truck and head for their nearby mountain cabin. On the verge of hypothermia, Cale's got to get both Kate and Bobby warm again. But what to do? Strip them naked of course, and pile into the bed together with nothing but his body warmth and an electric blanket to bring them back to life. Well, three naked people in a bed together, and you can probably see where this one's heading, hypothermia or not. At first Kate is a bit reluctant, but she's trying to get over her busted engagement. And these two hard bodies seem mighty willing. Maybe a revenge fling is in order? And it will only be for a few days until the roads are passable again--what harm can come from a few days together with these gorgeous guys?
Whew. Some hot stuff in this little story. Bobby and Cale certainly lead an unusual life. They've been buddies since high school, then joined the military together, then pooled their money to buy the little ranch where they live. And yeah, they have been known to help each other out sexually when a willing woman isn't available, but they'd much prefer to have a willing woman. And Kate was nothing if not accommodating. I must add that they had quite an unusual way of making love to a woman together--not sure if I've ever read a menage quite like theirs. So this was definitely a smokin' hot little story, but there was no real surprise with the ending, which was kind of sweet. If you're in the mood for a steamy menage story with a couple of sweet and sexy cowboy heroes, then this one's for you. 4 stars.
Warning: This book contains explicit language and sex, including a m/m encounter and a m/f/m menage. Not for the faint of heart.
Very short smut filled ménage story. I am giving it a 4 star based solely on the sex and the amount of it. In reality it was like a bad porn movie on paper with a HEA. So if you are in the mood, then by all means GO FOR IT!

My Review: What a fabulous erotic book. Wow! This was one awesome story! After a devastating discovery about her fiance, Kate crashes her car into an icy river. Luckily Bobby & Cale were behind her on the desolated highway and saw her crash so that they could pull her out of the river. Fighting hypothermia for both Bobby and Kate, Cale does the only thing he can...undresses all of them and snuggles them into bed together so that they can share body heat as the blizzard closes in.
Yup, this is one hot book. Bobby & Cale have started their ranch together, but it's a very isolated, desolated place and the winters get awfully lonely with just the two of them. Thus they feel like they have been given an incredible gift when Kate falls into their laps. As for Kate, well she is overwhelmed when she wakes up to these 2 sexy naked cowboys, but with her fiance's treachery fresh on her mind, she is okay with a long weekend of passion and forgetting the real world.
This book is hot and sexy. I really enjoyed reading it and getting to know Cale, Bobby, & Kate. I enjoyed their story and the unconventionality of their relationship. I loved Bobby's irreverence, Cale's sweet, tender caring, and Kate's up-front honesty. The passion was intense and the romance/love story beautiful. A great little erotic novella!
This is the second time I read this book. Last time was about two years ago. I have kept the rating at three stars.
The book is what I will call a sex book and nothing else. There is a story to it and it's good. But the story is very short and is mostly about them having sex.
It is a good enough book and its short so it can be read quite fast. So if you're looking for at quick and hot book, then this is it.
This was a sizzlingly sexy short story. In fact, if it had been narrated by a male as well as a female narrator, I would have given 5 stars. The female narrator (Nina Carlisle) did really well but a male narrator bringing to life the sexy things Cale and Bobby said, would have been perfection!
I enjoyed MMF where everyone seems to have 'fun' at the same time (wink). MFM usually bores. Ms. Devlin seems to an endless library many which are now on my 'want to read' shelf.
This is a well written story with great characters. Please remember this is a Menage story. For me this was a quick read, and it was so good. This one is worth your time.
Because of this book(ebook!) I've fallen in love with Delilah Devlin. Yep, ya caught me, she made me lesbian...JK!!
Story goes...Bobby and Cale were up for some quiet time in their snowy ranch when Kate appears before their path going up the mountain through the snow storm, to their hands as they rescued her and ended up in their bed, squished between them to get some heat going. Not just any heat...sensual heat. But Kate has a secret...she was escaping and finding herself squished in the middle of a cowboy manwich, she wants to have some revenge sex. Only after spending some time and kisses with them, she fins herself drawn...
My thoughts...this was so freakin' awesome! I love Kate, I love Bobby, I love Cale, I love Delilah! Ah! I used to squirm uncomfortably whenever I read Menage A Tois scenes from romantica books I read, after the amazing, sensual way Delilah wrote out their scenes...I just fell in love! *Big Sigh*
Definitely, DEFINITELY one author I'm going to be obsessed about now!! On my list: Meg Cabot Laurann Dohner Delilah Devlin :)))
It started out with a fun premise, although I have to say I was turned off almost right away by one of the guys talking disparagingly about the driving abilities of women, which just made him seem like a chauvinistic ass. Still the opening scenes were hot, but then the first sex scene just went straight to 10 with a sex act (double vaginal penetration) that I've never come across in erotica before and which really didn't seem the place to begin, especially since it was sold as painful by the two guys, and the women concurred. After that it was all downhill with relatively little sex for erotica and long relationship discussions about 12 hours after meeting which was a real WTF? The characters all came across as rather unlikable and I found the rest of the story boring. Also I won't really describe this As M/M/F because the guys had zero chemistry and the only time they touched each other is when the women ordered them to do so.
I’m a spoiler. Not because I want to discourage/encourage anyone in reading this book. I just want to write the highlights for me to remember by in the future. (There are really instances when I forgot about the story and I don’t want to waste my time in re-reading books that have bad plots.)
This is the not the first menage that I've read. Maybe because the story was short that after finishing it my reaction was:
I thought the scenes were written hurriedly. There was a little chemistry with the characters. And the build up for a certain sex-act did not exist at all.
One problem with e-books is that someone can lend you a book from afar with no trouble at all. It used to be that they would have to physically track you down, or send the book to you in the post. Now they can do it with a click. After refusing to read '50 Shades of Grey' I got lent this one instead. Being a sucker for the nice cleavage on the cover I decided to try this one. Only about 80 pages so a quick read over a few evenings. This is obviously a 'chick lit' book. I did not find it very entertaining (even the sex parts) but I can see how persons of the female persuasion might like it. In all I found the synopsis of the book more exciting that the actual book itself. This author has written a number of books and from the descriptions, I imagine her books are are all pretty much the same.
Bobby Blackhawk and Cale Yancey own and run a property outside Wellesley, Colorado that they bought together after leaving the service.
Katherine Duvall or Kate as she is better known is devastated, she has been betrayed and has taken off in her rental car.
When Bobby and Cale come up behind a women driving without chains on her tyres in the snow they know she is a disaster waiting to happen. Kate soon loses control of the car skidding off the road and Bobby and Cade instantly head to her rescue. What follows will surprise Kate and delight them all but will it be enough for these lone star cowboys to convince Kate to stay with them or will their winter tryst be just that.
I really enjoyed Saddled, and if you love your cowboys you will too.
OMFG! Why are all menage books I read of late merely excuses for one bland (and cold) sex scene after another? Would it hurt to insert some plot into it (beside the initial premise, because even though it's PWP, they just can't fall in bed together, can they?) This read like Brokeback Mountain D-movie cousin with a woman thrown into the mix, because the two cowboys did like their thingies nice and warm. Sheesh.
Next, please!

I did like this story alot and there was some very erotic moments. I really like M/M/F and when the M/M are also together. I found that added a hot sexual element to the story and uped the heat.
There were some editing flaws that I noticed, like the one male using the same condom without changing, but if you look past those oops errors, the book is great. I really loved the characters and was sad the book was over so quickly.
Sweet, short and unusually kinky menage bizniz I liked this story, in fact I love all of Delilah Devlin's western stories. This book has some kinky bizniz happening, my imagination is clearly limited and I love a book that goes out there, after all that is why I am not a writer myself. I love romances and this book is a short but sweet romance, I liked both the heroes and the heroine, I wish there were more to the story though. I would recommend this book.
this book has pretty much zero plot, but at least it doesnt really pretend to. girl meets boys much much sex, HEA. the end. and that is completely and totally fine. down right yummy scenes. though i am a little curious as to how the first one worked out logistically what a way to break a girl into a threesome. meep! and possibly ouch.
Hot, quick and straight to the point - wow I love that in a book! Cale, Bobby and Kate heat up this story, and unleash their sexual natures on each other in many and sundry ways. They only spend a few days together, but they are hot and sweaty for the middle on winter! There is emotion in the book as well, and you quickly fall for each of these characters and want them to be happy!
Delilah Devlin didn't disappoint! I'm always surprised by where she takes a story and Saddled wasn't any different. Loved the heroes that weren't completely alpha--nice for a change--and the heroine's passion for life and the need to live again kept me engaged. Very HOT read!!!
While I admit enjoying Delilah Devlin stories I also have to admit that they are being to seem like repeaters. Sure they have some great sex but great sex alone doesn't make a story.
If you're going to slide your car into an icy creek, this is where you'd want to end up. Just enough real-world intrusion, and a satisfying conclusion.
