There is a storyline to these, even though the majority of the books are puzzles. No my favorite to read aloud, but Squirt just loves the puzzles, and looks forward to solving them, wants to do more and more. I have to set a limit on how many pages we will do before bed or he would do them all. A good thing, from every angle. We have enjoyable time together, he is challenged, and we read a little. A win.

We never get tired of the Usborne Young puzzles, they are great fun for kids and parents. The pictures are beautiful and we read them over and over again.

Cute puzzle book for middle grade audience. Not very taxing but it is fun how the story comes together.

Snagged this from the library for my nephews, but I don't think they are old enough. You have to read and understand each double page spread.
Finding the friendly ghost 👻 and jester juggling balls was easier. Finding one special item per spread was harder - told if 10 pieces of "useful equipment."
There's an answer key in the back.

Very much enjoyed this book. Very colorful and inventive. My younger brother also enjoyed it.

Adding the fifth star after our Nth time checking it out of the library.
