Rate this book
In Dr. Galen s Little Black Bag, we follow the man that Berto Galen has become, as he deals with the pleasures, traumas, and tragedies of life in the medical profession. Like Berto s World, it is a collection of stories, but together those stories create a portrait of someone who is deeply dedicated to healing even as he struggles to heal the hurts and wounds that he has suffered over his own lifetime.

Goodreads Giveaway Book – Dr Galen is a wonderful doctor, some of today's doctors could learn a lot from him - maybe this should be required reading for all future doctors. Reading about the many patients, neighbors, friends and co-workers he touched with his gifts of healing, his understanding and his comforting presence makes you wish there were more people like him. What a shame that health care has turned into a business and thereby lost some humanity and humility.
