Having read Two Dates Max by this author I knew that even though the book was short – only 87 pages – there would be a plot, closure and a happily ever after. I wasn’t disappointed in those respects but also because there were no loose ends. You could feel the chemistry immediately between Sol and Darina along with the blossoming of their love which took both of them by surprise. There were some tense moments due to the ex-fiancé but there was also romance, heat, family and nice closure. They did spend most of their time locked up in the bedroom but that could have been because of their work situation and that they had never had these feelings before for anyone else. They each also seemed to bring out the best in the other. I look forward to reading other books by this author.
Favorite Quote: Darina woke with a chill and reached her hand out to find emptiness beside her.
She immediately turned to see Sol gone and the morning sunlight spilling between the blinds. Her head dropped back onto the pillow and she sighed, surprised to feel Sol’s absence so deeply. Her stomach fluttered in nervousness and her her heart rate sped up.
Confusion filled her as she tried to truthfully examine her feelings for him.
