This book follows the journey of a young walrus with his mother to Chuckchi Sea. The book does a great job describing the walruses and the environment in which they live. This would be a great resource for a science lesson on animals! Perhaps using this in conjunction with a lesson on animals and their habitat would work!
This book would be great for grades 3-5.
