Too Believable

Take what we are capable of doing right now, including political nationalism. Combine that with a human element and not only do you have great Writing, but also a great book like this one.

Pretty good hard scifi adventure about a decades-long mission to send a colony ship to a new world. Of course disaster strikes and the mission becomes a fight for survival. Not much character building but pretty solid adventure and plausible science.
